VISUALIZATION
A HOW-TO Guide

Visualization: A HOW-TO Guide
So you wanna be a mystic? So do we all, darling. The beautiful fact is that we all CAN be mystics,
if we can only learn to channel our energies in the right direction.
Visualization can be used for a variety of ends,
from something as abstract as sending a message to someone else who is far
away, to something as concrete as curing a toothache. There are as many ways to visualize as there are people.
This is a method that I have found useful in expunging disease from my
system. I have outlined it here, with the hope that readers can use it
or adapt upon it to come up with a system that suits them.
A. Believing in Your Power
In order for any visualization technique to be effective, you must knowthat it is easily within your capacity to make
your desired outcome reality. This is a very basic exercise, which
even the least psychically developed people can successfully complete.
Skeptics, however, must check their disbelief at the door.
B. Creating a Space that Suits You
Successful channeling necessitates a state of utter calm, including a space in which you feel utterly at home. It
should be a place where no one can see you or interrupt you for a solid
block of time. You should have somewhere to sit or lie where your body is
resting comfortably. Some people find lying down on a carpeted floor
the most comfortable;others prefer to sit up, so they don't fall
asleep. I personally like to stand in the shower under hot running water. The key
is to find a position that allows you to forget about your body, and let
your meditation be the only thing on your mind.
C. Developing Slow, Deep Breathing Patterns
Breathing should be from the diaphragm. Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose; take the same amount of time
to exhale it through your mouth. Practice your breathing until it
becomes ingrained as routine. From time to time in your meditation,
check to ensure that you are maintaining this slow, deep pattern of
breathing. This is what calms you, centers you, and allows you to focus on
the issues at hand.
D. Focussing In On Your Goal.
Before you begin your meditation, you should have a clear, concise
vision of what you want to attain. If you are sick, and trying to get healthy,
picture the disease in your body moving in a fluid path OUT of your body.
Imagine a vacuum at the exit point sucking the illness out of your
system; a vacuum so strong that it will not forget the tiniest scrap of
disease existing in your
thumbnail. When I discovered a new, rather large mole in my back, I
used the mole as the exit point, and found when I looked at it that even
the mole had disappeared. This is a very powerful exercise. You may
feel drained of energy once it is completed.
If you are trying to relay a message to someone
in another room, or another country, bring an image of this person
to the foreground of your mind. Believe that this person is as physically
close as they appear to you, and tell them, in distinct words in your
mind, what you need them to know. This is challenging, because you are
more than likely speaking to the other person's subconscious mind: very
few of us have set up the receptors in our brains that allow us to pick
up and decode this sort of message. But know that it has been delivered.
(i.e., saying "Grandpa's dead; the funeral's on Tuesday." probably won't
work. saying "Call home as soon as you can; it's urgent." is a message
that will rarely fail.)
If there is a major change you would like to make in yourself or your life, you must envision yourself living the more
fulfilled existence that you imagine. Picture a trusted companion, a
thriving career, or a more confident you. Imagine this so strongly that it
is reality, in your brain. If you build it, YOU will come--to a greater
understanding of the steps you must take to get to where you want to
be.
CAUTION: Because visualization is so powerful and effective, it does carry an element of danger with it. BE CAREFUL
WHAT YOU WISH FOR, is the most underrated statement of all
time. You DO have the power to make almost anything happen for you.
You DON'T necessarily have the power to deal with the repercussions.
Curing disease is very straightforward. You are acting on yourself, by yourself, and there is very little room for
error. Just make sure to do a thorough job--don't leave any cancer lingering
in places it shouldn't be.
Sending messages is a little trickier, but still fundamentally basic. Here, the only rule is to stay positive. Sending
someone sinister messages can bounce back
upon you, creating illness, or, in extreme cases, death. As long as your messages are trying to
help the other person, you will experience no side effects from this
exercise. But, ah, wishing for things. If only a genie
were here, he would have a
good laugh.
For the gods, like genies, are
tricksters. If you tell them youwant to be worth more money than your neighbor,
they'll put you in a brothel where your rates are higher than the
woman in the room next to you. If you say you want to win the Lotto 6/49,
they'll set you up to lose it the next day. Thegods, or the one God, or
the unseen forces that guide us, they feel they know best, and they
will seek every opportunity they find to remind us of this.
If you are lonely and single, and fixated on one particular crush, do NOTwish for this particular person to end up in
your arms: they might haveherpes; they might be debilitating to your
self-esteem. If it isn'thappening naturally, it is probably wrong.
Instead, focus on tuning intoand projecting the most attractive qualities
about yourself. Meditatet oward becoming a sexually confident
creature. THIS will land the right person in your path at the right time.
