Where love is greater than hate.

On our discussion list, which we invite you to join as a member, there is a great

deal of sharing about what makes us feel connected to each other and to

all that is.  Some of us talk about what it is to feel closer to God. Some of us talk about the pain that we have endured. We all like to share the wonderful things that happen to us and we greatly enjoy reveling in our triumphs and glories.  Sometimes we spend time praying and wishing good things for others and even for our whole planet.  There are times we talk about hard issues like abortion and death.  In respect and love, we try to learn from each other.

There is much difference in what inspires us.  That is really wonderful.  Just as we all look different, we come from different backgrounds, different walks in life... how we get close to God or Goddess or Allah, or whatever we call the Creative Spirit is different too.

I never imagined when I created a website 5 or more years ago now, called The Spiritual Sanctuary, that it would become what it is today.  When I opened up to the idea of creating a place on the internet where people could come

together to share, to be part of a loving place, and to be helpful in communicating peace, harmony and acceptance to the rest of the world, I never imagined this.

With the Will of the Gods on my side, I will say that we have never had bad words amongst us.  We have not had strife or conflict.  There aren't  people who feel more accepted or popular than others.

This place  is a blessing.

We invite you to take a look at some of the writings that we have felt specially

touched our hearts.  Maybe they will touch yours, too.  We hope so.

If you can dream it, you can do it.

Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I
have got a hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as
possible before handing it on to future generations.
-George Bernard Shaw
